After more than 40 years as an OEM manufacturer for various global brand products, Ta Shin Precision decided to offer their own brand, under the name TWSBI.
The knowledge and experience in producing various products including high-quality writing material is reflected in every TWSBI writing instrument.
TWSBI's name stands for the expression "Hall of three cultures" or "San Wen Tong" in Chinese. The "Wen" character translates into language and culture. The phrase "San Wen Tong" is also reminiscent of the Three Rare Treasures, created by Emperor Qianlong as a memorial to three major masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy. The initials of the phrase "San Wen Tong" are reversed and thus converted to "TWS". The last letters "Bi" have been added with the literal meaning of "writing instruments". So combining the two segments, creating TWSBI.
